SAINT LEO, Fla. – On Monday, March 9, the Saint Leo University athletic department named student-athletes Chloe Hocquard (softball) and Andrew Graham (men's lacrosse) as the Jimmy John's Lions of the Week. The award is recognizing these student-athletes for their performances from March 2-8.

Chloe Hocquard went 2-0 on the week in two appearances, posting a 0.64 ERA. In 11 innings pitched, the sophomore struck out 10 batters while allowing one run on three hits. In the opening game of the week for #10 Saint Leo against Wilmington, she went the distance, pitching a 7-inning, 6-0 shutout. She took a no-hitter into the fourth inning, and the lone hit of the game came on an infield single. Hocquard pitched four innings, allowing just one run on two hits in a 13-1 win over Assumption to close out the week. On the season, she is averaging nearly a strike out an inning and has lowered her season ERA to 1.05. She leads the SSC in opposing batting average (.109) and is second in the conference with a 1.05 ERA. 

Andrew Graham won 21-23 face-offs and secured 15 ground balls in an upset 17-7 win for #18 Saint Leo over #15 Flagler. Graham's second in the SSC with 77 total face-offs won, ground balls per game (7.00), and third in percentage (.681).
 

For the 2025–26 season, Saint Leo University Athletics is proud to partner with Jimmy John's to present a new weekly award recognizing student-athletes. The award will recognize athletic competition held from Monday to Sunday.
