SAINT LEO, Fla. – Following the games played from November 10-16, the Saint Leo University Athletics Department as named Paula Perez Rosales (volleyball) and Camden Cerese (men's basketball) as the latest Jimmy John's Lions of the Week recipients as announced on Monday.

Paula Perez Rosales delivered a standout week for Saint Leo volleyball, powering the Lions to a 1-1 record and their first conference win of the season on Senior Day. The veteran outside hitter totaled 27 kills at 3.38 per set, added 23 digs at 2.88 per set, and came up big in the five-set win over Rollins with a massive 22-kill, 13-dig double-double to anchor the Lions on both sides of the ball.

Camden Cerese averaged 20.0 points for the Lions during the opening weekend. On Friday in the 78-68 victory, the Illinois native tallied 15 points with three rebounds, three assists and one steal while going a perfect 9-for-9 from the charity stripe. In Saturday's game against Clark Atlanta, Cerese posted a career-high 25 points as he went 9-for-16 from the field with four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

For the 2025–26 season, Saint Leo University Athletics is proud to partner with Jimmy John's to present a new weekly award recognizing student-athletes. The award will recognize athletic competition held from Monday to Sunday.
