SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo Athletics has named volleyball senior Brielle Kallberg and freshman men's golfer Ben Morland as the latest Jimmy John's Lions of the Week honorees.
Brielle Kallberg totaled 25 kills over 10 sets at the Triton Invite, averaging 2.5 per set on a .396 hitting percentage. She recorded 11 kills on .786 hitting against Edward Waters, nine kills at .444 against UIndy, and added five more versus Bowie State. Kallberg also contributed four total blocks and finished with 27.5 points, averaging 2.75 per set. Her performance earned her a spot on the Triton Invite All-Tournament Team.
In last week's Griffin Invitational, hosted by Saint Leo, freshman Benjamin Morland tied for 10th in the 87-golfer field. Morland posted scores of 70-70-76 for an even-par score of 216 in his first tournament for the Green & Gold. He helped guide the Lions to a fourth-place finish as Saint Leo carded a three-round total of 840 (+6).
For the 2025–26 season, Saint Leo University Athletics is proud to partner with Jimmy John's to present a new weekly award recognizing student-athletes. The award will recognize athletic competition held from Monday to Sunday.
