SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo Athletics has announced the selections of Iza Stahlevi (women's golf) and Adam Yousfi (men's soccer) as the latest Jimmy John's Lions of the Week honorees.

Women's golf ophomore Iza Stahlevi posted another impressive outing last week as the Lions hosted the Saint Leo Invitational at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club. The Sweden native tallied her consecutive finish in the top-20. She fired a 220 (+4) for a share of eighth place. Stahlevi recorded a 71, 72, and 77 in her rounds.

Men's soccer senior forward Adam Yousfi registered a brace at home against Embry-Riddle on Wednesday night in a Sunshine State Conference match up. Yousfi laced back-to-back scores for the Lions with the first one in the 47th minute and again in the 52nd minute. Saint Leo shutout the Eagles, 4-0.

For the 2025–26 season, Saint Leo University Athletics is proud to partner with Jimmy John's to present a new weekly award recognizing student-athletes. The award will recognize athletic competition held from Monday to Sunday. 

Since launching in 1983 in Charleston, Illinois, with just a $25,000 loan from his father, Jimmy John Liautaud built his modest sandwich shop into the national chain known for its "Freaky Fast" delivery and fresh-baked bread. Over the years, the brand expanded rapidly, surpassing 2,600 locations nationwide by 2025 and even venturing internationally with openings in Seoul, Toronto, and Dubai. In 2019, Jimmy John's became part of Inspire Brands, the restaurant group that also owns Arby's, Dunkin' Donuts, and more.
