Marcus Dewberry ranks among the top performers in Saint Leo Basketball history. A member of the program’s 1,000-point scoring club,
he finished his career with 1,524 points, ranking seventh all-time. Dewberry became the first player in program history to record a triple-double,
posting 27 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds against Florida Tech on February 20, 2016.
He ranks fourth all-time in assists (406) and three-pointers made (193), eighth in steals (133), and ninth in free throws made (277). Dewberry
was a two-time All-Sunshine State Conference First Team selection in 2016 and 2017 and earned All-Region honors in both seasons. He was
named NCAA Division II National Player of the Week in February 2016 and earned six SSC Player of the Week honors.
During the 2015–16 season, Dewberry scored 611 points, the thirdhighest single-season total in program history, and set a program record
with 88 three-pointers made. He helped lead Saint Leo to two NCAA Tournament appearances and later played professionally in Iceland,
where he finished as the league’s second-leading scorer at 34 points per game.
