SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo Acrobatics & Tumbling team released its schedule for the upcoming 2023 season, featuring two home competitions.
 
"This season we are competing against some new schools and are excited for the challenges that will come" said Head Coach Joely Smith.  "After completing our first full season last year, our athletes are ready to show just how hard they have been working and pushing to make this season even more memorable."
 
Saint Leo picked up its first win in program history against Presbyterian College in its season finale in 2022 and will strive to build off what they started last season.
 
In 2023, the team will have four total meets, including the Lions' first-ever tri-meets on the road.  For the first time in program history, the Green & Gold will open its season at home, taking on Belmont Abbey College March 3rd. 
 
Following the Crusaders, the Lions head north for a Maryland road trip, first to Frostburg State March 12th to face both the Bobcats and the East Stroudsberg Warriors before heading to Stevenson University two days later for another tri-meet against the host Mustangs and the Kutztown Golden Bears.
 
Saint Leo will have a break in its season before hosting its season finale April 2nd against East Texas Baptist University.
