SAINT LEO, Fla. – In coordination with the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA), Saint Leo University acrobatics & tumbling head coach
Britteny Johnson has unveiled the 2026 schedule, featuring six meets with an even split of three at home and three on the road. The Lions will open the season at home against the 10x NCATA National Champion Baylor Bears on Friday, February 6.
In addition to the top-ranked Bears, Saint Leo will host meets against Presbyterian (Feb. 22) and West Liberty (March 13). The 2026 season will feature stops at the University of Montevallo (Feb. 12), Presbyterian (March 19), and Converse (March 21).
Four of Saint Leo's five opponents were on the schedule last season. West Liberty is the only team the Lions did not face in 2025. Saint Leo and Presbyterian will meet for the seventh and eighth times, with the Lions leading the all-time series 4-2 following a sweep of the Blue Hose in 2025.
Saint Leo will welcome Baylor to the Marion Bowman Activities Center for the first time since 2022. Last year's trip to Waco marked the first time in program history the Lions made the trip to Baylor. The Lions are still in search of their first win over the Bears, having previously faced them in 2020, 2022 and most recently last season.
The Lions' match up with Converse marks the fourth meeting overall between the two programs. Last season, Saint Leo earned its first win over the Valkyries by a slim 4.945 advantage.
