SAINT LEO, Fla. – #11 Saint Leo University acrobatics & tumbling qualified for five events at the 2025 National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association national championships in Sioux Falls, South Dakota next week. The Lions will be participating in the NCATA championships for the first time in the program's history. Coming off a season to remember, Saint Leo earned its first national ranking and continued to climb the rankings while posting a 6-2 overall record.
Saint Leo earned at-large bids in acro (6-element, 7-element), pyramid (synchronized, open), and tumbling (open pass). The Lions nearly earned at-large bids to all heats of the acro and pyramid events but were beaten out by a narrow margin to Glenville State. The Green & Gold advanced in the open heat of the pyramid event earning the tiebreaker over Presbyterian with a higher overall season average.
The championships will take place at the Elmen Center on the campus of Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, April 24-27.
