SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo University Men's golf team found its best round of the Saint Leo Invitational Tuesday, as the Lions shot Round Three's fourth-best score (280) to finish the tournament in fourth with an overall score of 859, -5 (290/289/280) at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club.
The Green & Gold completed the day jumping five spots in the standings, edging out Keiser by one stroke and finishing 17 strokes away from tournament champion Lee University.
Three Lions finished the third round under par, as Juniors
Alex Heck and
Jake Nash each recorded a round score of 68, -4. Sophomore
Francois Cilliers shot 71, -1.
