SAINT LEO, Fla. – Eleven Saint Leo University student-athletes were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large Team. The organization announced the two teams on Tuesday.
The Lions were represented by five teams across the men's and women's at-large teams. Men's Lacrosse's Shane Jones, Men's Golf's Brendan Porter, Enzo Barbaglia, Francois Cilliers, and Nicklas Illi represented Saint Leo on the men's team. Women's Lacrosse's Marina Dean and Parker Surace, Beach Volleyball's Jeanette Henderson and Reagan Hopp, and Women's Golf's Ana Valentina-Guarderas and Pia Perthen represented the Green and Golf on the women's team.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes At-Large honorees in five divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and the College Division.

The College Division is comprised of institutions from two-year colleges, Canadian institutions, and other institutions who are not affiliated with the NCAA and NAIA divisions.

The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.

Reminder that in the At-Large sports category, schools from one division might compete in a different division in a particular sport (i.e, ice hockey), so student-athletes are listed in the DIVISION of their sport, not necessarily in their institution's main NCAA division.
 
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. 
 

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure. The College Division Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) governance structure.
