Jul 29, 2025

SAINT LEO, Fla. – Five members of the Saint Leo men's golf team have been named 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Enzo Barbaglia, Nicklas Illi, Maximilian Morgenstern, and recent graduates Francois Cilliers and Brendan Porter earned the prestigious academic honor, recognizing their excellence in both the classroom and on the course.

To qualify for All-America Scholar honors, NCAA Division II student-athletes must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors both academically and athletically, compete in at least 50% of their team's competitive rounds, maintain a stroke average under 78.0, and hold a minimum career GPA of 3.2. Additionally, honorees must demonstrate high moral character and be in good standing at their university.

Saint Leo was one of only three NCAA Division II programs to have five student-athletes receive the award, joining Georgia Southwestern and Lander at the top of the national list.
