CHAMPIONSGATE, Fla. – The Saint Leo University Men's golf team began the Citrus Intercollegiate challenge hot in the first two rounds before its third round cooled off the red-hot Lions to an eighth-place finish Tuesday at Champions Gate Golf Club, posting an overall score of 861 (285/280/296), -3.
In the opening round, Sophomore
Richard Dou stunned the competition with an impressive score of 67, en route to posting the best overall score competing as an individual (212 {67/75/70}, -4). Sophomore
Alex Heck also performed well over the two-day span, also shooting 212 (71/69/72), -4.

The Lions will resume action in 2023, awaiting the Matlock Invitational in February hosted by Florida Southern.
