SAINT LEO, Fla. –
Alexander Parker, a junior transfer at Saint Leo, was named the Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Men's Tennis Division II Player of the Week in the final weekly honor selections of the season.

Parker earned an impressive UTR of 12.29 during the week against Wayne State and Ferris State. The Englishman was undefeated playing at first singles and second doubles. He registered a 6-4, 6-2 first flight decision over Wayne State's Pierre Renaudie. Parker later handed in another swift win (6-3, 6-2) over Bulldogs' No. 16 Yannic Alexander Mader. In doubles action, Parker and
Kayne Trustfull defeated the Warriors of Wayne State and Bulldogs of Ferris State 6-4 and 6-1, respectively.

Parker's worked helped carry the Lions to a 9-2 overall record, closing the season on a three-match win streak.
