SAINT LEO, Fla. – Third-year head coach
Chad Berryhill announced the signing of Kayne Trustfull and Athanasios Bilis to the 2019-20 men's tennis roster. Trustfull joins the Lions hailing from Amsterdam, Netherlands. Bilis enrolls at Saint Leo coming from Thoades, Greece.
Trustfull transfers from ASA Miami and Riverside City College as a business major. During his time in California, Trustfull became a OJAI State Semifinalist and Orange Empire Conference Player of the Year. "I made the decision to sign with Saint Leo because I believe it is the perfect place to take my tennis and education to the next level," said Trustfull. "I can't wait for the season to start!" Prior to his collegiate career, Trustfull was the named among the top-10 8-14 year old tennis athletes in the country along with a second place finish in the Under-16 Nike Junior Tour.
Bilis, a true freshman who graduated from Penn Foster high school, declared as an International Business major at Saint Leo. "I chose Saint Leo because the Florida climate and facilities will help me improve," said Bilis. Bilis brings with him a number of previous honors including a National Greek Semifinal appearance in both singles and doubles, a Greece Futures Quarterfinals double finish and a top-10 national ranking.
