Lakeland, Fla. – Ghali Mensour and Bruno Faletto of the Saint Leo men's tennis program each grabbed wins in singles play along with a doubles match together at the ITA Regionals hosted by Florida Southern.
 
Mensour defeated Rodolfo Hasegawa (Palm Beach Atlantic) in a three set singles match; 4-6, 6-2, 10-5. Mensour dropped a 6-2, 6-2 decision in the following round to Vivien Versier (Barry).
 
Bruno Faletto downed Juan Ortiz Couder (Embry-Riddle) 2-6, 6-4, 10-8 in his first singles contest. Faletto's run ended after ending up on the wrong side of a three set match against Jose Portfirio Ordonez (Florida Southern); 2-6, 6-4, 10-8.
 
In doubles action, Mensour and Faletto earned an 8-6 decision over James Finnigan and JJ Clark (Florida Tech). The duo in Green and Gold dropped a 9-7 match in the next round to Alvaro Terron and Eban Straker-Meads (Auburn University at Montgomery).
 
Individual competition continues on Friday, October 5 at the C.L. Varner Memorial hosted by Rollins.
