Box Score MELBOURNE, Fla. – #4 Saint Leo men's tennis extended its perfect season record to 13-0, 3-0 in the Sunshine State Conference on Tuesday. The Lions thrashed the Florida Tech Panthers 8-1, earning the program's sixth season road win.
Saint Leo earned a 2-1 advantage after doubles play. No. 1 doubles,
Thomas Grinberg and
Vincent Suillerot battled for a 9-8 match win. Meanwhile, no. 2 doubles,
Jaime Bueno and
Willem Van Den Akker, earned an 8-3 decision. Grinberg and Suillerot raised their no. 1 doubles record together to 9-3.

Willem Van Den Akker move to 10-1 as the Lions' no. 2 pair.
Saint Leo swept singles getting there from three three set matches: no. 2
Vincent Suillerot (3-6, 6-2, 6-1), no. 4
Bruno Babic (3-6, 6-2, 10-3) and no. 5
Francisco Aparicio (6-7, 6-4, 10-5).
Thomas Grinberg improved his no. 1 singles record to 13-0 handing in a 6-2, 6-3 final. No. 3
Jaime Bueno resolved a 6-4, 6-1 decision while no.6
Willem Van Den Akker saw through a 6-1, 6-3 final.
Saint Leo will continue play on the road. The Lions travel to Keiser on Friday, March 30 for a 1:00 p.m. march start.
