SAINT LEO, Fla. – The No. 7 Saint Leo men's tennis team leveled No. 11 Flagler College 6-3 Sunday afternoon at the Saint Leo Tennis Center. The win improves the Lions' overall record to 2-0.

Chad Berryhill said, "It was a tough match today and I am glad to see our guys handle adversity and find a way to pull out matches. Flagler played a good match but I'm glad to see how guys stepped up and worked to get the win."
Thomas Grinberg and
Vincent Suillerot won first doubles 8-3.
Jaime Bueno and
Willem Van Den Akker took third doubles, 9-7.
Grinberg, Suillerot and Bueno all won their singles matches. In first singles, Grinberg won 6-1, 6-2 while Suillerot worked for a 6-1, 2-6, 6-3 victory in second singles. Bueno won third singles with a 6-4, 6-0 decision.
Bruno Babic defeated sixth singles opponent 4-6, 6-4, 10-6.
Saint Leo opens Sunshine State Conference play in its next match on Wednesday, February 21 at 3:00 p.m. hosting the Florida Southern Mocs at the Saint Leo Tennis Center.
