DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Four Saint Leo men's tennis players enjoyed an undefeated Saturday during day two action at the Bethune-Cookman Juan Varon Wildcat Invitational, held on the clay courts at the Florida Tennis Center.

Thomas Grinberg, Aurel Ciocanu, Francisco Aparicio, and Willem van den Akker all came away winners in both their singles and doubles matches on Saturday. Grinberg knocked off Embry-Riddle's Juan Couder, who finished no. 12 in the nation last season, by a 6-4, 1-6, 10-6 score at A Flight singles.

In doubles play at A Flight, Grinberg and Vincent Suillerot rallied from a 1-4 deficit to post a 6-4 win over the Keiser pairing of Romai Ugarte/Julian Turosienski.

Ciocanu had an impressive outing on Saturday, winning a pair of singles matches at D Flight over Keiser's Ugarte, 6-0, 6-4, and then knocking off Embry-Riddle's Deepak Vishavkarma, 6-4, 7-5. Ciocanu also found time to play two doubles matches with James DeFusto at C Flight, winning both by convincing margins.

Round-robin competition concludes on Sunday at the Juan Varon Wildcat Invitational.
