BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Saint Leo University Women's golf team sit in ninth out of 12 teams after two rounds Monday, shooting an overall score of 617 (307/310), +41 at the Boca Woods Country Club.
Sophomores
Pia Perthen and
Laurence Lamer both currently tie for 27th overall, shooting 153, +9 after the first day.
After a Round One score of 80, +8, Lamer bounced back to shoot 73, -1 in Round Two. The native of Blainville, Quebec, Canada shot well on the Par 3 courses, co-leading the tournament shooting three under.
Saint Leo holds the third best average (3.1) on Par 3 courses after two rounds.
Dallas Baptist and host Lynn sit tied for first, each shooting a total of 589.
