LAKE JOVITA, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's golf team competed in the second day of the Sunshine State Conference Women's Golf Championships. The Lions finished the afternoon in third place with a 594 point total after two rounds of play.

Both Laurence Lamer and Pia Perthen had an impressive second round at Lake Jovita, scoring a 74 apiece.

Lamer currently sits inside the top ten in a five-way tie for seventh at 147 (+3).

Maya Cote and Perthen head into the third round currently tied in 14^th at 149 (+5).

The Lions will continue their work by competing in the SSC Championship on Tuesday, April 18 at 7:40 a.m.
