LAKELAND, Fla. – After a tough start to the Lady Moc Classic the day before, the Saint Leo University Women's golf team bounced back in the final round Tuesday, posting a round score of 295 to finish the Classic in 11th an overall score of 914, +50 (310/309/295) at Grasslands Golf & Country Club.

Elena Verticchio each landed round scores of 72 that helped move the Lions up four spots. Sophomore
Laurence Lamer also had a revival on the green, shooting a round score of 75, +3.

Saint Leo is back on the golf course March 13-14 when the team travels to Orlando, Fla. for the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational, hosted by Rollins College.
