TAMPA, Fla. – The Saint Leo University Men's swimming team was unable to top #9 University of Tampa Sunday, as the Lions were defeated by the Spartans 133-53 at the Riseman Aquatics Center.
The Green & Gold won two of the ten events on the men's side, as Freshmen Lucas Mineur and Nino Viallon swam away victorious. Mineur was just tenths of a second off from making the provisional cut in the 100-yard Freestyle, recording a time of 0:45.92, as Viallon finished the 100-yard Backstroke with a time of 0:51.4.
Junior
Szymon Leszega (1:41.76) finished as the runner-up in the 200-yard Freestyle event.

The Lions will have a month to prepare for the four-day Spartan Invite, set to take place December 16th at the Long Center in Clearwater, Fla.
