WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Saint Leo University Men's swimming began the 2022-23 season with a nail-biting 131-130 win over #25 Rollins Saturday afternoon at Alfond Swimming Pool.
The Green & Gold (1-0, 1-0 SSC) won nine of 14 possible events, as Freshman
Nino Viallon made the biggest splash for Saint Leo with three events won. The La Wantzenau, France native took home the 100-yard Backstroke (0:51.22), 200-yard Backstroke (1:55.28), and the 200-yard Individual Medley (1:53.43) titles. Viallon's 200 IM time was just seconds from making a provisional cut.

The Lions now prepare for its home opener against Lynn November 4th; the meet is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
