SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo University Women's golf team slowly moved up a few ranks in the Invitational standings, but ultimately could not recover from its 302 Round 1 start, finishing the Saint Leo Invitational with an overall score of 894, +30 (302/295/297) Tuesday afternoon at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club.
Despite the overall results, Sophomore
Pia Perthen improved her performance from the DBU Women's Invitational, making her way into the Top 30 in the tournament by shooting 224, +8 (75/75/74).
Sophomore
Cajsa Strandberg was one of five players at the Saint Leo Invitational that recorded an Eagle, putting the ball in the hole in three strokes on a Par 5 hole.

Saint Leo is back on the course October 31-November 1 for its final tournament of the Fall slate, traveling to Bradenton, Fla. for the Rollins Legends Invitational at the Bradenton Country Club.
