SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its first regional rankings of the 2019-2020 season this week spotlighting four Saint Leo Lions. Aurel Ciocanu, Bruno Faletto, Ghali Mensour and Willem Van Den Akker each brought in south region rankings.
 
Junior Aurel Ciocanu was named No. 6 in the south region followed by sophomore No. 9 Bruno Faletto and sophomore No. 16 Ghali Mensour.
 
In doubles action, Ciocanu and senior Willem Van Den Akker were pegged No. 10 in the region.  
 
The ITA is slated to release national singles and doubles rankings on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019 followed by a national team poll on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020.
