BETHLEHEM, Pa. – At the 45th annual Paul Short Run, which is the largest intercollegiate cross country meet in the nation with approximately 6,000 athletes presented by ASICS, Saint Leo men's cross country placed 17th out of 44 men's teams.

The Lions, who ran in the Brown 8K course, finished with 547 points led by
Clement Goujon's 77th place finish out of the 362 total runners. Clement ran the course in a time of 26:28.

Behind Goujon,
Ethan Markey took 86th (26:33), ahead of
Joshua Sickinger (119th, 26:51),
Tadgh McGinty (151st, 27:04),
Shawn Bell (164th, 27:12), and
Noah Quintana (170th, 27:14).

Queen's University won the team title with 72 total points where Dan Schaffer of Binghamton took medalist honors with a time of 24:37.

Saint Leo returns to action on Oct. 6 at the Disney Cross Country Class in Orlando, Fla.
