SAINT LEO, Fla. - Saint Leo University men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete at the SSC Championship this Saturday, Oct. 25. The meet will take place at Holloway Park in Lakeland, Fla. and is hosted by the University of Tampa. 

The morning will begin with the women's 6,000m at 7:45 a.m. Senior Rachel Jarrett will look to lead the way again for the lions as she has at all the meets she has competed in this fall. Jarrett's personal best in the 5000m. of 19:15.5 at the Ave Maria Invitational was the fastest time for the team this fall. 

At 8:45 a.m. the men's 8000m will kick off. Leading the way for the Lions this fall has been freshman Paul Rivera, coming into the meet with a personal best of 26:54.3 at the HOKA Nights of Thunder XC Fest.
