SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo women's basketball team was up bright and early during the International Coastal Cleanup day on Sept. 15 in Dade City, Fla. The Lions' joined residents to collect any trash in the area, joining an international effort to keep coastal towns clean.
 
According to its webpage, "The International Coastal Cleanup began more than 30 years ago, when communities rallied together with the common goal of collecting and documenting the trash littering their coastline."
 
The women's basketball program's morning reflects the core values of Saint Leo University; Excellence, Community, Respect, Personal Development, Responsible Stewardship and Integrity.
