CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Saint Leo women's golf saw five golfers earn All-American Scholar honors announced by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) on July 3. Two seniors,
Vilde Eriksen and
Amanda Jakobsson, sophomore
Izzy Lawrence, redshirt freshman
Synne Lauritzen as well as freshman
Jasmin Pnaiser earned Scholar All-America honors for the 2017-18 season.
The five Lions' were among the 1,011 women's collegiate golfers honored by the WGCA. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
The honors are the first for Eriksen, Lauritzen, Lawrence and Pnaiser where it is the third time Jakobsson has earned the honors.

The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition.
