SAINT LEO, Fla. – Four members of the Saint Leo women's golf team were recognized for their excellence in the classroom as the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced its 2025-26 All-American Scholar Team on Monday.
Representing the Lions on this year's prestigious list were freshman
McKenzee Sullivan, redshirt senior
Maya Cote, sophomore
Iza Stahlevi, and senior
Ana Valentina-Guarderas.
The WGCA recognized 1,551 women's collegiate golfers from across the country as All-American Scholars for the 2025-26 academic year. The honor is one of the most prestigious academic awards in collegiate golf, with student-athletes required to meet rigorous standards both in the classroom and on the course.
To earn WGCA All-American Scholar recognition, student-athletes must:
- Maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
- Be an amateur and remain on the team's roster through the conclusion of the season.
- Compete in at least 50 percent of the team's regularly scheduled competitive rounds through the conference championship.
