Posted a 74.50 stroke average over 28 rounds, second-best average on the team… recorded a pair of top-five finishes and six top-10 results… won the Stetson University Babs Steffens Invitational against a mostly-Division I field of opponents, firing a 212 (-4) over 54 holes… her 68 in the final round of the Babs Steffens Invite was Jakobsson’s low round for the season… tied for fourth at the Florida Tech Lady Panther Invitational with a 220 (+4), after carding a 69 in the final round of the 54-hole event… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection… D2ADA Academic Achievement Award recipient.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-16)
Honorable Mention WGCA All-American… Honorable Mention All-Sunshine State Conference… second on the team with a 76.15 stroke average over 33 rounds… had stronger performances in the fall when she logged a 74.22 stroke average over nine rounds… seven top 20 finishes out of 12 tournaments played… won the Lander University Lady Bearcat Invitational in the fall with a seven-under 137 at the Old South Golf Links… carded a second-place finish at the Flagler Fall Slam (-2, 142), four strokes off the lead… lowest round of the season was a 66 in her opening round at the Lady Bearcat Invitational, matching the lowest individual single round score… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection… WGCA All-American Scholar.
AS A FRESHMAN (2014-15)
Finished the year with a team-best 76.11 stroke average over 18 rounds… recorded one top-five finish and five top-20 finishes… finished 15th in the nation in par 4 scoring at 4.21 strokes… tied for fifth at the 2015 Sunshine State Conference Championship with an eight-over 224… tied for 19th at the 2015 NCAA South Super Regional with a 227 (+11)… carded her low round of 71 in the second round of the Barry University Invitational.
CAREER
Played at Katrinelundsgymnasiet Gothenburg, Sweden, for Coach Martin Alegard… Became junior club champion in 2013... Finished second in Skandia tour match in 2014... Ranked 73rd in Sweden during the 2014 season, averaging 77.45 strokes.
PERSONAL
Born April 20 in Gothenburg, Sweden… Believes her biggest asset to the team is that she is a real fighter... likes to watch romantic movies and listen to music when she's away from the golf course... favorite athlete is Annika Sorenstam... favorite food is grilled chicken salad... daughter of Krister and Charlott Jakobsson... has one sister, Johanna, who played golf at Brenau University and then Webber International.
