Swimming Notes

• Saint Leo men's and women's swimming returns to action as the Lions travel to Florida Southern Friday before hosting Rollins Saturday morning. 
• The Lions will go head-to-head with the Moccasins at 3 p.m. at the Nina B. Hollis Wellness Pool in Lakeland before going head-to-head with the Tars at the Marion Bowman Aquatics Center. 
• Saturday's Meet schedule vs Rollins:

Women's Basketball Notes

• Wednesday's 54-45 loss to South Region #10 Eckerd extended Saint Leo's losing streak to five.
• Against the Tritons, Delaney Bernard and Nikira Hooks turned in 10-point performances. Bernard's 10 points marked her career-high where it was Hooks' fourth double-digit game of the season.
• Gina Brierley faces the Sailfish as the Lions' leading scoring averaging 8.4 points per game, shooting .415 FG%, .538 FT%.
• Alani Gallagher is the team's leading rebounder averaging 5.1 per game while averaging 7.6 points per game.
• PBA is defending a two-game winning streak after defeating Lynn (70-61) and Nova Southeastern (73-60).
• Hannah Grim is having a strong senior season averaging 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds per game. After 16 games, she is shooting .380 FG%, .690 FT% while tallying 37 steals and eight blocks.
• Nkiru Anyagaligbo leads the Sailfish rebounding game averaging 9.1 per game while scoring 11.8 points per game.

Men's Basketball Notes

• Saint Leo enters the weekend with a 8-13, 4-6 SSC record after its most recent setback to Eckerd, 81-71, Wednesday.
• On the season, the Lions are led by Isaiah Hill who averages 12.0 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game. Hill leads the team with 76 total assists and 47 steals through 21 games.  Hill remains the teams leader in blocks with 16, two ahead of Junior Searcy.
• Junior Searcy and DeAndre King join Hill in double-figures as Searcy averages 11.9 points per game and Kin 11.4 ppg.
• Palm Beach Atlantic comes to Saint Leo with a 10-11, 4-6 SSC record after dropping its final three contests. The most recent setback was to Nova Southeastern on Jan. 17, 95-89.
• Three Sailfish average double-figures with De'Ondre Jackson leading the way with 13.3 ppg. Jules Jasmin is second on the team with 11.9 ppg while Grant Gullett is third at 11.5 ppg.
• Bakari Warthen paces the team with 5.5 rebounds per game. Warthen leads the team with 20 blocks on the year.
