SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo seniorÂ
Colett Rampf picked up her second Sunshine State Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week award in as many weeks, when she was tabbed for the honor on Monday after her winning performance at the Embry-Riddle ASICS Classic.
Rampf posted a time of 17:55.10 over the 5K course, finishing 1:22 ahead of the second-place runner from host Embry-Riddle. She ran a 5:45.7 mile pace – the only competitor in the women's event to run a sub-6:00 pace.
Rampf led Saint Leo to a first-place finish out of 10 teams in the event, with four runners placing among the top 10. The Lions posted 32 points in the scoring, beating out the host Embry-Riddle squad by five points.

This marks Rampf's 14
th SSC Runner of the Week award all-time over her four year career.
The Lions will travel to Gainesville, Fla., next Saturday to run in the University of Florida's Mountain Dew Invitational. The women's race starts at 8:30 a.m.
