Cross Country Concludes Season At NCAA DII South Regional Championship

LAKELAND, Fla. - Saint Leo men's and women's cross country concluded their 2025 fall campaign at the NCAA South Regional Championship. The men placed 16th while the women took 18th.  

Starting the day was the men's 10,000m, the first time seeing this distance of the year for the lions. Freshman Paul Rivera lead the way for the harriers, running a time of 33:41.6 placing 41st overall.  

Freshmen Angleo Acosta was the next lion to cross the line, finishing in 36:40.1. Following Acosta was freshmen Santiago Rodriguez and Jordan Seymore, closing out their seasons in times of 37:38.1 and 38:35.7 respectively. Rounding out the scoring for the men was junior Bradnon Hill in 39:12.3.  

Freshmen Jevin Luna and Elijah Sosa closed out the day with times of 39:18.9 and 39:50.6. 

The men's team placed 16th overall. 

The women's 6,000m race saw Senior Rachel Jarrett close out her career with a 41st place finish, crossing the line in a time of 23:10.0. 

Junior Dakotah Medows ran a personal best of 25:10.4, followed by freshman Delaney Glynn in 26:06.3. Closing out the day for the lions was freshmen Maria Tejada and Alexis Morgan with times of 27:27.0 and 28:35.1. 

The women placed 18th overall, just ahead of SSC foes Eckerd and Lynn.  

This concludes the 2025 season for the Saint Leo Cross Country teams.
