Lions Drop a Road Contest to the Eagles

Daytona Beach, Fla - Saint Leo faced a tough challenge against Embry-Riddle at the ICI Center, resulting in a 105-75 loss. Despite the loss, there were notable performances and areas of improvement for the Lions.
 
The first half saw Embry-Riddle take a significant lead, with the score at 52-34. The second half displayed better offensive efficiency from Saint Leo, shooting 50% from the field, but it wasn't enough to overcome the early deficit.
 
Amar Hot led the Lions with 14 points, showing his accuracy from beyond the arc. Cantia Rahming and Jakai Davis contributed with 10 and 11 points, respectively. The team collectively shot 45% from the field and displayed improvements in the second half.
 
Despite the loss, Saint Leo had positive moments, including a strong bench performance contributing 35 points.
 
The Lions fought hard to mount a comeback in the second half but fell short and couldn't overcome the large deficit.
 
The Lions look to regroup and bounce back from the road loss. They will return to the Bowman Center Saturday January 20th to take on Nova Southeastern on Greek Night. Tipoff is slated to start at 7:30 pm.
