Appeared in six games, averaging five minutes per game… Played a season-high 10 minutes at #1 Nova Southeastern (Jan. 11)… Grabbed a total of six rebounds on the season, with a season-high three coming against P.R - Mayaguez (Nov. 27)… Tallied five total points on the season, with all five coming from the free-throw line.

AS A FRESHMAN (2023-24)
Tabbed to the SSC 2024 Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll…averaged 1.6 points per game…appeared in 13 games with an average of 6.2 minutes per game…grabbed five total rebounds and dished out five assists…recorded two steals and one block…made his collegiate debut versus Barry on Jan. 6 and tallied five points with one assist…posted a season-high six points in eight minutes at Embry-Riddle on Jan. 17…registered three points with two assists and one steal against Nova Southeastern on Jan. 20…tied a season-best six points versus Rollins on Feb. 7

His nicknames are Dyl and Murph…his parents are Michelle and Quinn Murphy…he has one sister named Kenzie…his father played basketball at Drury University…his mother played volleyball at Missouri State and his sister plays beach volleyball at North Florida…chose Saint Leo because it was the best fit with the coaches believing in his potential and wanting to stay close to his family…plans to become a lawyer…his hobbies include fishing, bowfishing, and being outdoors…his favorite athletes are Devin Booker, D.K Metcalf, Baker Mayfield, and Michael Jordan…his favorite sports teams are the Phoenix Suns, Oklahoma Sooners, and Seattle Seahawks

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Attended Columbia High School and competed in basketball under Mark Sandstrom…during his junior year he averaged 15.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game and named to the Illinois All-State Team, First Team All-South honoree…in his senior campaign he averaged 18.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game and became a 1,000th-point in his career, he was tabbed a First Team All-State recipient
