SAINT LEO, Fla. - Saint Leo Baseball has moved up in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper NCAA Division II Top 30 Poll to No. 12Â after the poll was released on Monday.Â
The Lions are coming off a series win over previous Florida Tech, taking two out of three from the Panthers, including a comeback win in game one of a doubleheader on Saturday where
Bobby Sparling had three home runs. The Lions are the second-highest ranked Sunshine State Conference team, sitting just nine spots behind No. 3 Tampa. Saint Leo now stands at 26-13 on the season. The Lions are also 17-4 at Thomas B. Southard Stadium this year.Â
Saint Leo will now get ready to face Florida Tech this coming Tuesday night at home before having a week off for Easter and then welcoming Valdosta State on Tuesday, April 19.Â
