#6 Men's Golf Concludes Regular Season Action at the Argonaut Invitational

PENSACOLA, Fla. - No. 6 Saint Leo men's golf concluded the regular season after the final round of the Argonaut Invitational at the Pensacola Country Club, where the Lions finished in 14th place. 

As a team, the Green and Gold shot an 897 (+33) where the Lions were led by Jake Nash with a top-25 finish at 219 (+3), good enough for 24th place after a final-round two-under 70. The Sarasota, Fla. native, drained four birdies for his final round to just two bogeys with 12 par's. Nash, who climbed 22 spots over the final 18 holes, carded an opening-round 76 with a second-round 73 to conclude the regular season. 

No. 1 West Florida, the host of the Argonaut Invitational, took home team honors after firing off a 10-under final round to finish at 846 (-18), fending off no. 4 Lincoln Memorial. The Railsplitters' Dan Bradbury earned medalist honors by two strokes with a 54-hole score of 206 (-10).

Saint Leo University Athletics is keeping our student-athletes healthy and safe by following a number of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This includes having student-athletes tested or screened on a regular basis, traveling in smaller groups, holding competitions without fans in attendance, avoiding overnight trips, and wearing masks when not competing. These safety standards meet those set by the NCAA Division II and the Sunshine State Conference President's Council. At Saint Leo University, the COVID-19 Incident Command Team also reviews the teams' safety protocol and monitors adherence on a regular basis.
