SAINT LEO, Fla. – Inside Lacrosse released the 2020 Face-Off Yearbook: Preseason Men's Division II All-Americans this week featuring senior long stick middle, Ethan Ticehurst of the Saint Leo men's lacrosse team.
 
Ticehurst was named a Third Team Preseason All-American by the organization, his second-straight season being selected among the elite list. The Coquitlam, B.C. native, is a three-time All-Sunshine State Conference member who played an integral part of the Lions 2018 national run. Last year, Ticehurst compiled 12 points scoring eight goals and tallying four assists in 17 starts. He caused 29 turnovers while picking up 55 ground balls.
 
Saint Leo will open the year wearing the No. 16 ranking after US Lacrosse Magazine released the 2020 Nike/US Men's Lacrosse Division II Top-20 list. The No. 16 Lions will crack open the 20s with a heavy road schedule. Under the direction of 15^th year head coach Brad Jorgensen, No. 16 Saint Leo will meet fellow South Region program, No. 20 Colorado Mesa, on Saturday, Feb. 8 in Jacksonville, Fla. at Providence School of Jacksonville. Face-off is set for 1 p.m.
 
Following the national rankings, the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) released the 2020 men's lacrosse preseason poll on Tuesday, Jan. 21, selecting the Saint Leo Lions to finish second of eight. Saint Leo drew 40 points right under the preseason favorite, Tampa, with 48 points and six first place votes.
