SAINT LEO, Fla. - Saint Leo University men's lacrosse seniors Greg Palmer, Aidan Knoetgen, and Owen Wills have been named USILA Honorable mention All-Americans.
Greg Palmer was named to the third team, leading the SSC in goals scored per game with 2.86, totaled 40 total goals, was 5th overall in assists per game at 1.21, totaling 17. Palmer led the SSC in points per game with 4.07 points generated per game. Palmer also had two game winning goals, a .336 shot percentage, and a .662 shot on goal percentage. Palmer recorded the most points in a single game by an SSC player this season with 10 against Montevallo.
Knoetgen recorded 61 total points with an average of 3.81 per game, second behind Palmer in the SSC. Knoetgen led the conference in assists per game at 2.63, and totaled 42 which was also the most in the SSC. Knoetgen was the only SSC player to have a game with 5 assists and 6 assists this season. He did so twice each, 5 assists each against Montevallo and Flagler, and 6 assists each against Lynn and Embry Riddle.
Owen Wills caused 28 turnovers this year, averaging 1.75 per game which ranked third in the SSC. Wills recorded 50 groundballs, 10th in the SSC. He also recorded 5 goals and 6 assists.
