BRADENTON, Fla. – The third-seeded Saint Leo Lions fell 4-2 against the fourth-seeded Rollins on Sunday in the Sunshine State Conference consolation match. The fourth place finish moved the Lions overall record to 16-9.

Rollins grabbed the doubles match point taking flights two and three.
Aurel Ciocanu and
Willem Van Den Akker won first doubles 6-2.

Willem Van Den Akker stayed hot as he finished his fourth singles match first, defeating his opponent 6-3, 6-4. The Tars took sixth singles to make it a 2-1 match in the favor of Rollins.

Aurel Ciocanu won his third singles match; 6-4, 6-2 to level the game at 2-2.

Rollins ran away with the win clinching the fifth and second single matches. Â
