VALDOSTA, Ga. – The seventh-seeded Saint Leo Lions fell 4-0 in the NCAA South Regional II on Saturday against the second-seeded Valdosta State Blazers. The Lions close the 2019 season with an overall record of 16-10 under the direction of third-year head coach Chad Berryhill.
 
Valdosta State swept doubles; 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 for the advantage heading into singles play.
 
The Blazers clinched the match taking sixth singles (6-2, 6-4), fourth singles (6-3, 6-3), and second singles (6-4, 6-2).
 
Bruno Faletto left his first singles match unfinished at 4-6, 4-4. Meanwhile, Willem Van Den Akker left the fifth flight unfinished ahead at 7-6, 3-2.
