ORLANDO, Fla - The No.6 Saint Leo men's tennis team defeated Rockhurst 7-0 on Thursday afternoon, earning their second sweep of the season and improving their record to 9-3.
Saint Leo took the doubles match point, winning Flights 2 and 3. Doubles Flight 2
Bruno Faletto and
Leonardo Vega battled for a 7-5 win, while doubles Flight 3
Ghali Mensour and
David Perez defeated their opponents 6-2.
Leading off for the Lions in the number one singles spot was #40
Bruno Faletto, earning a 7-6, 6-1 victory. Mensour won second singles 6-2, 7-5.
Aurel Ciocanu played at third singles and brought home a win with a score of 6-2, 6-4.
Noel Kunz defeated his opponent 6-1, 6-0.
Willem Van Den Akker rolled over his opponent 6-0, 6-3.
David Perez earned a 6-0, 6-1 win.
The Lions return to action at home on March 16 at 11 a.m. when they defend home against Post.
