LAKELAND, Fla. – No. 19 Saint Leo women's golf is sitting in second place after the first 36-holes of the Florida Southern Lady Moc Classic at the Grasslands Golf and Country Club on Monday after posting a team score of 597 (+21).

Synne Lauritzen is leading the Lions in 10th place with a 147 (+3) 36-hole score.
Izzy Lawrence is tied for 14th at 149 (+5) where
Isabel Nesteus rounds out the Lions inside the top-20 at 150 (+6), tied for 18th.
Louise Henningsson is tied for 26th at seven-over, 151.
Rose Morissette is tied for 54th, 156 (+12), and
Jasmin Pnaiser is tied for 79th with a score of 164 (+20).

The Lions shot an opening round 292 (+4) on the par-72 6,085-yard course at the Grasslands Golf and Country Club. Lauritzen led the team with a one-under 71 ahead of Lawrence's even-par 72. Henningsson was third on the team with a one-over 73 where Nesteus shot a 76. Pnaiser opened up the tournament with an 85. Playing as an individual, Morissette carded a first round 80.

In the second round, Saint Leo fired off a 305 (+17). Lauritzen and Lawrence remained close with a 76 (+4) and a 77 (+5), respectively. Nesteus moved up in the player leader board shaving two strokes on the second 18 shooting a 74 (+2). Henningsson closed the day with a 78, Morrissette a 76 and Pnaiser a 79.

No. 2 Nova Southeastern is the clubhouse leader after 36-holes with a team score of 591 (+15). Seher Atwal of Rollins College is the individual leader at four-under 140 following rounds of 69 and 71.

No. 19 Saint Leo and the rest of the field will return to action Tuesday morning at 8:30 am for the final round of the Lady Moc Classic.
