MELBOURNE, Fla. – Four members of the Saint Leo baseball team appeared on the Sunshine State Conference postseason awards list. Senior Jordan Pendleton was named First Team All-Conference while juniors Brett Coffel and Peyton Isaacson and sophomore Amir Wright appeared on the second team. This marks Pendleton's second postseason honor of his career after being named Second Team All-Conference as a freshman while Coffel, Isaacson and Wright pick up their first career All-SSC honors.

Pendleton led the Sunshine State Conference this season with three complete games while compiling an 8-1 overall record. His 3.06 ERA is third among starting pitchers in the SSC while his 81 strikeouts rank him 10th in the league. He pitched 94.0 innings on the year to rank fourth in the league and held opponents to a .273 batting average. For his career, he had 61 career appearances with 39 starts. He compiled an impressive 28-10 record with a 4.57 ERA. His 28 victories rank him first in the Saint Leo record book for career wins just ahead of Dave Garcia who had 27 wins from 1993-96.

Coffel was the second team catcher after finishing the season with an impressive.333 batting average. He started every game for the Lions whether it be as the designated hitter or catcher. He threw out 10 base stealers throughout the season and was charged with just two passed balls. The Clermont, Fla., native scored 30 runs and drove in 42 while picking up 15 doubles, three triples and six homeruns.

Isaacson appeared on the second team as the utility player for his role as a catcher, first baseman and a pitcher. He finished the year with a team-best .346 batting average while driving in a team-high 50 runs. He belted out 17 doubles and 12 homeruns while scoring 42 runs of his own. From behind the plate he threw out six base stealers and had just one passed ball. On the mound he finished with 14 saves in 21 appearances with just one loss. His 14 saves tied him with Chris Macca for the most saves in a single season in Saint Leo baseball program history. Macca achieved the feat during the 1995 season. He had a 4.26 ERA with 20 strikeouts in 19.0 innings pitched. He held opponents to a .222 batting average while allowing just five extra base hits.

Wright took home second team outfielder honors after a strong sophomore campaign. The Griffith, Ind., native started all 48 contests for the Lions while batting .335 with eight doubles and two homeruns. He drove in 39 runs while crossing the plate 47 times himself. He swiped 11 stolen bases and had a pair of defensive assists from the outfield. Wright was Saint Leo's leadoff hitter who set the table for the Lions all season.
