#12 Men's Golf climbs one spot Tuesday to close out the Bobcat Invitational

EATONTON, Ga. – No. 12 Saint Leo concluded play at the Bobcat Invitational, hosted by Georgia College at Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee in 10th place, moving up one spot in the leaderboard after a team total of 877 (+37).
 
Alberto Castagnara, who climbed 13 spots on the leaderboard, took home seventh with a 212 (+2) after carding his second 69 (-1) on the course. Castagnara shot two rounds of 69 with an opening round 74 (+4) for his tournament scores.
 
Riley Goss turned in a 74 (+4) to close out the tournament and finish at 220 (+10). Goss came in at 35th on the player leaderboard after two 73's to open the tournament and a 74 to close it.
 
Bas Vermeulen came in third on the team after jumping 16 spots Tuesday with a two-over 72 to close the tournament out in 41st with a 222 (+12).
 
CJ Tyler and Oliver Lilliedahl tied for 57th at 227 (+17) as Tyler climbed seven spots during the final 18-holes after shooting a 74 (+4). Lilliedahl wrapped up play in Georgia with a 78 (+8).
 
University of South Carolina-Aiken took home the team title after an 846 (+6), two strokes ahead of No. 1 West Florida, 848. USC-Aiken's Johnson Holliday and Florida Southern's John VanDerLaan tied for first with a 206 (-4) tournament score. VanDerLaan won the playoff with a par on no. 17.  
 
No. 12 Saint Leo men's golf will return to the links for the Argonaut Invitational in Pensacola, Fla. April 2-3.
