SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's track team continued its season at the University of Tampa's Ryan McCall Invitational on Friday. The Lions were led by
Niclas Bez, who won the 800 meter race in a time of 1:56.17.
Anthony Deleva placed second in the 1500 meter race (4:04.05), while teammates
Joshua Sickinger (4:08.39),
Tadgh McGinty (4:13.40) and
Hunter Chavis (4:16.23) earned top 12 finishes.
The Lions' 4000 meter distance medley relay team finished with a 10:37.79 time as the lone competitors in the event.
Andrew Sands finished 20
th in the 100 meter dash, crossing the line at 11.55.
Hermon Constant was close behind in 12.11-seconds for 27th place.
On Friday, March 9 the Lions return to the University of Tampa for a 3:00 p.m. invitational.
