LAKELAND, Fla. – Saint Leo men's cross country ran to a sixth place finish out of 18 teams at the NCAA Division II Men's Cross Country South Regional meet at Holloway Park. The Lions scored 199 points as a team in the 53-degree weather on the 10K course.

The Lions saw
Shawn Bell place 18th as an individual out of 133 total runners in a time of 32:43.96 on the 10K course.

Behind Bell,
Shane Bracken took 34th with a time of 33:16.57, ahead of
Tyler Pantley. Pantley rounded out the top-50 runners for the Green and Gold in 47th at 33:32.53.

Joshua Sickinger (53rd, 33:42.32),
Clement Goujon (55th, 33:43.64),
Tadgh McGinty (72nd, 34:20.80), and
Ethan Markey (74th, 34:22.96) rounded out the Saint Leo runners on the course at the South Regional.

Embry-Riddle (1st, 78 points), Lee (2nd, 67 points), and Florida Southern (3rd, 99 points) automatically qualify for nationals out of the South Region.
