  • Saint Leo leads the all-time series with Lynn, 28-14, and the Lions have won nine of the last 10 meetings between the two programs. The last win by the Fighting Knights in the series came Nov. 11, 2016 in Boca Raton, 3-2. Lynn has not defeated the Lions in Saint Leo since Sept. 22, 2012, a string of five-straight defeats.
  • Earlier this season, Saint Leo defeated Lynn 3-1 in Boca Raton. Senior Dallas Jasper led the Lions with 15 kills while compiling a .500 hitting percentage. Sophomore Ashley Quero chipped in 14 kills and a pair of blocks. The Fighting Knights were led by Sonja Udovcic who had 14 kills and 18 digs to lead the team in both categories.
  • Lynn has won three of its last five matches on the season including victories over Rollins, Florida Tech and Embry-Riddle. The Fighting Knights' offense and defense comes from the duo of Sonja Udovcic (3.74 kps/3.79 dps) and Rafaela Fonseca (3.40 kps/3.41 dps) who lead Lynn in both kills and digs per set. Marcella De Vuono (0.90 bps) and Lauren Odom (0.80 bps) patrol the net for the Fighting Knights.
  • Saint Leo has a slight 6-4 lead in the series with Barry over the last 10 matches including having won three of the last four meetings. The Buccaneers snapped the Lions' three-match win streak in the series earlier this season in Miami Shores.
  • Barry held Saint Leo without a double-digit attacker in the 3-0 sweep earlier this season. The Lions were led by Jasper and junior Nina Vattovaz who each had seven kills in the match. The Bucs placed two hitters in double-digits as Kristina Filimonova and Megi Buvinic finished with 16 and 15 kills, respectively.
  • Barry enters this weekend 18-2 on the season with 16, 3-0 sweeps and its only two losses coming to top-10 ranked teams. Filimonova (3.65 kps) and Buvinic (3.39 kps) lead the high powered offense while Audren Rose (5.53 dps) patrols the back line. Stassy Samokhvalova (1.33 bps) has been a strong presence at the net defensively for the Bucs.
