AS A FRESHMAN (2016)
Competed in 7 games with 5 starts for the Lions … logged 561:42 minutes in goal … tallied 24 saves on the year … finished with a 5-1 record as the goalie … finished the year with a .727 Save Percentage … helped the Lions to a 9-2-1 home record and a 7-1-1 SSC record which saw Saint Leo claim the SSC regular season title and the SSC Tournament Title … helped the Lions to be nationally ranked throughout the season and finish as the No. 17 team in the nation … as a team the Lions tied the record for conference wins in a season (7) and tied the best winning percentage for the year (.750)... member of Saint Leo University President's Club Fall 2016. 

CAREER
Attended Lakewood Ranch High School … Coached by Guy Virgilio … helped her team win two district championships, one regional championship and a third-place trophy in the state of Florida … in high school, she won the Most Valuable Defender (senior season), Most Valuable Midfielder (junior season) and Most Improved Player (sophomore season) … played club for West Florida Flames under Coach Jorge Zavala

Born July 8 in Huntington, New York … Lists her favorite athlete as Hope Solo, and her favorite teams are the Orlando Pride and New York Rangers … Believes her biggest assets to the team is her determination to win and succeed together … Daughter of Michael and Joan Ortiz … Has one sister, Olivia, who was a member of the Alabama Crimson Tide cross country and track teams (2014-16)
